Biography Highlight

Lin Wenyi, female, Han nationality, is a native of Tainan, Taiwan Province. She was born in 1944, and holds a Ph.D. in engineering mechanics.

Lin Wenyi spent the majority of her career in education. She served in numerous position in the department of engineering mechanics of Qinghua University. She then become the deputy director of Beijing's Municipal Higher Education Bureau.

Lin is currently Chairman of the Taiwan Democratic Self-Government League and Vice-Chairman of the 11th National Committee of the CPPCC.
